Progressive Arts Alliance

Since 2002, Progressive Arts Alliance has been exciting students, teachers, and the general public with dynamic arts-in-education programs that showcase the depth and scope of the contemporary arts. We seek to make the arts accessible to students of all ages regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, education, or income level. Progressive Arts Alliance works hard to provide programs that are at the cutting edge in terms of artistic merit and methodology in education, stimulate critical thinking and promote progressive thought. PAA's multi-disciplinary programs create meaningful learning opportunities that demonstrate the dynamic relationships between the arts, diversity, critical thinking and intergenerational learning.

Educational offerings include in-school, after-school, and community outreach programs with topics that include electronic music, visual arts, poetry writing, dance, animation, filmmaking, drumming, and career options in the arts. PAA summer camps, such as the RHAPSODY Hip-Hop Summer Arts Camp and Music of My Mind: Creating Musical Biographies Intergenerational Filmmaking Camp, are a unique opportunity for students to meet new friends and develop their imagination and creativity through hands-on arts experiences.

Progressive Arts Alliance is a member of Cleveland Arts Education Consortium (CAEC).
