Great Lakes Theater's in-school residency program is now one of the most successful artist-in-residency programs in the country. Each year over 16,000 students, in over 100 schools experience the pleasure, power, and relevance of classic literature brought to life right in their own classrooms.

The program is a week-long residency which uses an interactive, hands-on approach to dramatic literature, designed to meet the common core education standards.

A team of two specially trained actor-teachers visits your school bringing scripts, props, costumes and more to explore classic literature from an actor's point of view.

Core residency titles include: Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Hamlet, The Crucible, Middle School Drama, Elementary School Stories and so much more.
